The lead sound channels include send channels where you can add any effects you like. These send channels are set to activate only when the input signal is quiet. It’s best to add reverbs and delays and set the mix to 100% wet. Next, gradually fade the effect in to suit your taste. You can also use it as a layer to create a slightly altered, widened version of the main sound.
All channels are connected to the send channels. On first use, set your favorite reverb, room, and delay, then save the template. From then on, every project will have your personal sound ready to go. You just need to turn up a single knob.
Each BUS channel comes with a gentle low-cut filter, so you can save time and simply adjust it to your needs.
If you use the preselected Serum bass VST , you can control the pitch bend directly in the playlist. The automation is centered at 50%, with each semitone corresponding to 10%. So for a pitch bend of +2 semitones, you would move from 50% up to 70%.
The bass send is enabled by default to provide an immediate full and gritty sound. Disable it if needed. The effect has been carefully configured to widen and thicken the bass while maintaining phase coherence and avoiding any phase issues.
Raise the kick-send volume to enhance the transient of your kick. The channel automatically generates a layered version of your original kick, preserving its character while adding extra punch. Unlike a traditional transient shaper, it does not alter the waveform of the source signal, ensuring that the original sound remains untouched and free of any phase issues.
Place an atmospheric audio track on the Secret Sauce Drum channel and experiment with the controls. The gate will open whenever any drum instrument plays.
